Business Executive Golf Tournament

This annual fund raising event is sponsored by the Business Department's Phi Beta Lambda chapter.

Distinguished Executive Program Dinner

Each spring, the Phi Beta Lambda student organization hosts a dinner to honor the PBL students who placed in the previous year's state and national competitions. Following the dinner is a panel presentation by distinguished executives from the local business community. The dinner is preceded by a silent auction.

Entrepreneurship Day

Entrepreneurship Day is held each April to foster and celebrate entrepreneurship. This day-long event features multiple concurrent presentations throughout the day, a keynote address, the popular Idea Challenge for student business concepts, and award presentations.

MBA Research Day

At the end of each spring semester, graduating MBA students present their practicum and theses to an audience of fellow students, family and friends, as well as to faculty who grade the projects and presentations.

Mountain Plains Management Conference

The annual national Mountain Plains Management Conference is sponsored by the Mountain Plains Management Association. To learn more about the conference and the association, please visit http://www.mountainplains.org.

State PBL Conference

Mesa State College Phi Beta Lambda frequently hosts the annual PBL state conference. This day-long event is packed full of spirited competitions and fellowship with students from other Colorado schools.

Welcome Back Night

Welcome Back Night is held near the beginning of each semester to build a spirit of community among business students, to connect students and faculty, to inform students of the nature of the various business student organizations, and to encourage students to join those organizations.

Microsoft Academic Alliance Software Purchase

The Microsoft Academic Alliance allows students who are in or who have taken specific CISB courses to acquire selected Microsoft software titles for only the cost of materials and labor. The application form specifies cost for materials and labor, which range from $10 to $35 depending on the number of CDs required.

Entrepreneurial Business Institute

The purpose of the Entrepreneurial Business Institute, EBI, is encapsulated in the following mission statement: Providing expertise for the purpose of economic development by facilitating: Education, Consulting, Training and Information.

Juice Junction Co-Curricular Learning Lab

Juice Junction, operated by the Mesa State Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), is a co-curricular learning lab providing a real-world business atmosphere for PBL members and food and drink service to gym-goers.
